Why the name Gemmu?

In the south of China, by the picturesque Mogu Lake lives the last matriarchal tribe. Women from generation to generation pass down a legend about a girl from this region named Gemmu who lived around the lake many centuries ago. Gemmu was very skilled in handicrafts and was famous for her craft in China and beyond. One day, a god discover her talents, fell in love with her and kidnapped her to heavens. People from the village prayed to the god to return the girl back to Earth – all in vain. It is said that one can still hear Gemmu’s voice in the wind around the lake and mountain.
